A Normal Day on the Kilimanjaro Ascent
Your guides will wake you up every morning between 6:00 and 6:30 with a hot beverage and warm water for showering. You will then need to pack your kit and other necessities. Between 7:00 and 7:30, breakfast is given as the crew packs your tent. then prepared to travel to the following camp. Your guides will give you a briefing on the itinerary for the Kilimanjaro Climb that day as you have breakfast.
The guides will perform a quick health check after breakfast is finished. Additionally, they will address any queries or worries you may have regarding the rest day’s climbing. Ideally, you should be on the mountain every morning between 8:00 and 8:30. As you leave, your Kilimanjaro Crew will have finished cleaning the campsite.
The staff will arrive at the next camp spot before you do, even if they leave the campsite later than you do. Your tent will be virtually ready when you arrive.
You will be given warm water as soon as you arrive at the following camp, which has already been established before your arrival. Then, at your mess tent, you can get coffee, tea, or hot chocolate along with food. Then a hearty, delectable dinner will be brought to you. All climbers and personnel utilise waterproof sleeping tents. Only the Marangu path is equipped with huts for sleeping as an exception.
SUMMIT NIGHT: You will have an early dinner and receive instructions on how to dress for the summit when you arrive at the Base Camp for the last preparations.
You’ll go to bed sooner than usual on this day. At midnight, after being awakened at 11:00 p.m., you will prepare and depart for the top.
