7 Days Rongai Route – Kilimanjaro Climb

The Rongai Route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the northern side, near the Kenyan border. It’s the most remote and least crowded route, offering unspoiled wilderness, beautiful views, and a gentle, steady climb.

This route provides excellent acclimatization, diverse scenery, and a high success rate — ideal for trekkers seeking a quieter path to the summit.

DAY 1: Arrival Day

Precious Safaris welcomes you to Tanzania!
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, one of our professional drivers will meet you and transfer you to the Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha. After arriving at your hotel, take some time to relax before your mountain guide visits in the evening for a briefing and gear inspection prior to your trek.
