Stone Town, which forms the westernmost tip of Zanzibar Town, is the island’s historic centre and is a perplexing network of alleys and passageways. Even though there are now almost a quarter of a million people living in the island’s thriving capital, getting lost in Stone Town’s maze of tiny streets makes it easy to feel as though you’ve travelled back in time. You dodge clattering coffee carts and slide through ornately carved doors as you go through twisting corridors that unfold beneath dainty balconies. You will also go to the Jozani Forest Reserve, which is south of Zanzibar Town, as part of this excursion. The magnificent Kirk’s red colobus monkey, which is one of the rarest sights in Africa with its characteristic grey tufts and ochre-red back, is found only in Jozani.

Day 1: Airport Pick-Up and Hotel Drop-Off

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, one of our professional drivers will meet you and then transfer to your hotel in Nungwi.

Day 2: Full-Day Spice Farms, Prison Island, and Stone Town
After breakfast at your hotel, our driver will pick you up for full-day excursions in Zanzibar. Today you will explore the spice farms by testing and smelling different spices grown and used in Zanzibar cuisines; Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black peppers, Cloves, etc. Experience the delicious locally made Spiced rice lunch on the farm with fresh fish and fruits like Mangoes, bananas, Pineapple, etc. Visit Prison Island, where you can Witness and take photos of the Aldabra giant tortoises. Prison Island is the best place to learn the History and culture of Zanzibar locals. Our professional local tour guide will take you to the most iconic sites, such as the House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury House, the Former Slave Market, Old Fort/ Arab, and the Sultan’s Palace. After a long day spend, your driver will take you back to your hotel for relaxation and dinner.

Day 3: The departure day
Today is your last day in Zanzibar, depending on your flight time, we will arrange your transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
