8 Days Tanzania Midrange Safari: Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival Day in Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our professional driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha. You will have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
DAY 2: Arusha National Park
After breakfast, we will head to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem of Tanzania that offers stunning views of Mount Meru and a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. You can also take a walking safari to explore the diverse flora and fauna of the park. Later on, drive back to the Green Mountain Hotel.
DAY 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. You can spot animals like elephants, hippos, baboons, and different bird species, such as flamingos. After a successful day, drive to the Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 4: Serengeti National Park
We will leave early in the morning for our journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. We will stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site, and learn about the early human ancestors who once lived here. After the picnic lunch, proceed with an afternoon game drive until evening, where you will drive to Ang’ata Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park
Today, we will spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, home to the largest concentration of wildlife in Africa. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move across the Serengeti in search of food and water. Evening, after a full-day game drive, we will return to Ang’ata Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest intact calderas in the world. Here, you will have the chance to spot the Big Five as well as other animals such as cheetahs, hyenas, and flamingos. Dinner and overnight stay at the Farm of Dreams Lodge, located in Karatu outside of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
DAY 7: Tarangire National Park
We will start the day with a game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. In the afternoon, we will drive back to the Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha for our final night in Tanzania.
DAY 8: Departure
