DAY 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon your arrival in Tanzania, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Coffee Lodge, where you’ll spend the night. The lodge is nestled in between the coffee plantations and is the perfect place to relax and unwind before beginning your adventure.
DAY 2: Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Machame Gate, where you’ll complete the necessary registration formalities. You’ll then start your climb through the rainforest to Machame Camp, which will take approximately 6-7 hours. The camp is situated on the edge of the forest and is a great place to rest and take in the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
DAY 3: Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp
Today, you’ll hike from Machame Camp to Shira Cave Camp, which will take approximately 6 hours. You’ll climb through the moorland zone, which is characterized by heather and different species of grasses. As you ascend higher, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Shira Plateau.
DAY 4: Shira Cave to Barranco Camp
Today’s hike will take you from Shira Cave to Baranco Camp, which will take approximately 6 hours. You’ll cross the Shira Plateau and then climb up to Lava Tower, which is at an altitude of 4,640 meters. After Lava Tower, you’ll descend to Baranco Camp, which is situated in a valley and is surrounded by giant senecios and lobelias.
DAY 5: Baranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Today, you’ll hike from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp, which will take approximately 4 hours. You’ll climb the Baranco Wall, which is a steep, rocky section that requires some scrambling. Once you reach the top of the wall, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
DAY 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Today’s hike will take you from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp, which will take approximately 4 hours. You’ll climb up to the alpine desert zone, which is characterized by sparse vegetation and rocky terrain. Barafu Camp is situated on a ridge and offers stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
DAY 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Today is the big day! You’ll start your climb in the middle of the night, around midnight, to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll hike through the scree and snow to reach Uhuru Peak, which is the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters. After reaching the summit, you’ll descend to Mweka Camp, where you’ll spend the night.
DAY 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Arusha
Today is your final day on the mountain. You’ll hike from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate, where you’ll complete the necessary registration formalities and receive your summit certificates. You’ll then be transferred to Arusha, where you’ll spend the night at Coffee Lodge.
DAY 9: Fly to Zanzibar
Today, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Once you arrive at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will take you to the Grand Melia Hotel, where you will spend the next few days relaxing and exploring the island.
DAY 10: Relaxation Day
After all the hard work of climbing Kilimanjaro, taking some time to relax and unwind on the wonderful beaches of Zanzibar is well-deserved.
You can sunbathe, swim, and take in the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Overnight stay at the Grand Melia Hotel.
DAY 11: Prison Island and Nakupenda Sandbank
After having breakfast, you can take a trip to Prison Island and Nakupenda Sandbank. Prison Island was previously used as a prison, but now it is home to giant tortoises and a small beach where you can swim and snorkel. After the excursion, you can return to the Grand Melia Hotel to spend the night.
DAY 12: Beach Relaxation
It’s another day where you can spend the whole day relaxing in Zanzibar. Enjoy lunch, dinner and the great view of the Indian Ocean. Overnight stay in the Grand Melia Hotel.
DAY 13: Safari Blue Tour
Today, you’ll go on a Safari Blue Tour, which is a full-day excursion that includes snorkelling, swimming, and a seafood lunch on a sandbank. Drive to the Grand Melia Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 14: The Rock Restaurant experience.
After breakfast, take some time to rest and then drive to The Rock Restaurant for a delicious lunch and some relaxation.You can enjoy fresh seafood and other delicious meals while enjoying the ocean view. Later on, you can head over to the Grand Melia Hotel for dinner and a comfortable night’s stay.
DAY 15: Fly to Serengeti National Park
Today after breakfast, fly to Serengeti National Park. You will meet your driver guide who will then drive you to the Four Season Lodge for relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 16 and 17: Safari in Serengeti National Park
You’ll spend the next two days on a safari in Serengeti and stay at the Four Season Lodge. You’ll have the opportunity to see the Big Five animals and witness the other famous animals in the park.
DAY 18: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, you will be going on a balloon safari in Serengeti. After the safari, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. Later, you will drive to the Grand Melia Ngorongoro Lodge for relaxation.
DAY 19: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. After a bush meal experience, drive to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for dinner and an overnight night stay.
DAY 20: Lake Manyara National Park
Wake up for breakfast, then drive to Lake Manyara National Park, where you can spot a variety of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more. After the game drive, you’ll visit Maji Moto, the hot spring water, which is a perfect spot for aquatic bird life. Drive to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 21: Tarangire National Park
Leave the lodge after breakfast and depart for a game drive in Tarangire National Park, where you can spot a variety of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more. After lunch, you will drive to Arusha and check into the Grand Melia Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 22: Arusha National Park
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and drive to Arusha National Park.
Arusha National Park is a stunning destination that’s perfect for a day trip. Begin your day with a game drive and have the chance to spot some incredible wildlife. The park is famous for its diverse landscape, diverse wildlife, and a wide range of bird species. Enjoy a walking safari to experience the beauty of nature. After a day full of adventure, return to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 23: Full-Day Relaxation in Arusha
